It's a move that hasn't been without controversy. Young's supporters were loathed to see this brewing legacy end, but others agreed with the company that the Wandsworth site was unviable.

Cheers to Young's is a celebration of Young's achievements. It charts a period of enormous change for the company and its people and looks to the future - the expansion of the Young & Co retail company under the helm of Stephen Goodyear, and the Wells & Young's Brewing Company in Bedford.

But rest assured if you are a Young's tenant, manager or freetrade customer, head brewer Ken Don reassures us that it is simply a case of 'same recipe, different oven'. The taste of Young's is set to live on.

The programme was recorded in September, the month that saw the last brew produced at the Wandsworth brewery and most poignantly, the death of the company's charismatic and beloved chairman, John Young.
